Teacher Appreciation Week – Day One: Luau Breakfast

on May 14, 2013

Teacher Appreciation Week

Somehow during last months WOW (PTA) Meeting, another mom thought is was a good idea to volunteer me to organize the schools Teacher Appreciation Week. So me along with two other mothers worked together to make the week very special for the hard working teachers.

There wasn’t any classes on Monday so I had to come up with something for Tuesday – Friday only.

The plan:

Tuesday: Teacher Appreciation Luau Breakfast and a Gift (Box of Chocolate Covered Cherries)

Wednesday: Snacks and a Gift Certificate to local Teacher Supply Store

Thursday: Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Friday: BBQ Themed Lunch and Little Care Packages

Our first day, was the Teacher Appreciation Tropical Luau Breakfast

We decorated and set up the teachers lunch room:

They enjoyed fresh fruit, a basket full of pastries and juice.

We had leis for all of the teachers to wear that had a tag on them that said: “I’m a Teacher What’s your Super Power?”

Each teacher went home with a wrapped box of chocolate covered cherries.

What a great start to the school week! All the teachers were so grateful for what we did for them.

Happy Teacher Appreciation to you!
